    Rare and important mid 19th century French ormolu and ceramic clock garniture set
    comprises large central clock with ormolu side gargoyles, scroll legs, grape, leaf, and swag decorations on base, applied ormolu floral and foliate swags above face section, with top lidded urn finial, matching garnitures have mask side handles, scroll feet, finial top, both clock and garniture have hand painted Sevres panel inserts in blue and gilt painted body with figural cameos on front and sides on clock, figural and landscape cameo’s on front of garniture and landscape cameos on reverse, all items have gilt timber and blue velvet raised plinth supports, ebonized, and glass dome cases on all three items. Clock has signed striker movement by Japy Frères, height of clock 39 cm, width 25 cm, garniture height 30 cm, width 16 cm
