    unmarked, shape resembling nail, tip unscrews to reveal quill container, terminal with seal, armorial of those of Oakeley Family, probably the property of Richard Oakeley M.P for Bishop Castle 1623 and a distinguished supporter of the Royal Cause; or his son William who also held the same parliamentry seat and was High Sheriff of Shropshire in 1660, weight 15gm, l 12cm

    No colours are denoted on the armorial, which suggests prior to 1700 or so.
