    the first hallmarked, London, 1883, John Brashier, the cup and paten of plain form, the cruet in the form of a wine ewer with pull off lid surmounted by cross weight, inscription on underside of paten, "Presented to the Revd George Peacock Metcalf by the officers and friends of the St Silas Sunday School as a tribute of respect on his leaving Hull Jany 8th 1886 F G Linsley Superintendent", weight 50gm, h 9cm; the second communion set hallmarked London, 1891, Mappin & Webb, hemispherical bowl, cruet bottle silver and glass with screw cap, weight 80gm (silver), h 7.5cm (6)
