Lot Description:A c.1948 mounted tiger’s head
mounted by the firm of van Ingen & van Ingen, Mysore, India, and with their no. ‘35010’ to reverse dating to 1948/49, the mount in poor condition with both ears frayed, damage to jaws, mouth and nose, whiskers absent, glass eyes present, the open mouth and style of the mount ‘consistent with the work done by this firm’. ‘Guild of Taxidermists’ inspection report available. -
