Lot Description:Ammonite
Morocco, This is a classic, large example of the ammonite: Acanthoceras species. It was recovered from the area around Agadir. Large specimens from this area always display the rough exterior that is as characteristic as the tan monochrome colouration. The two halves measure 45 x 55 cms each. -
