  Amethyst Cave Pair
  Minas Gerais, Brazil, pair of beautiful display pieces with large, deep purple gem quality crystals. Geodes or caves are formed within voids produced by gas bubbles in volcanic rock, into which mineral-laden water seeps, then crystallizes over the eons. The large specimens each measure approximately 145 x 60 x 20cms and together have a total weight of 587kg.
