  Gallipoli Medallion (ANZAC Commemorative Medallion).
  Instituted by the New Zealand and Australian Governments in 1966 for issue to Gallipoli veterans and next of kin of veterans; 50 x 75 mm; in case of issue. Reverse engraved 'F N Hardy'. [see No.1967/6 in Catalogue of New Zealand Commemorative Medals 1941-2007 by Hamish MacMaster, Wellington 2007.]
• Notes:
  NOTE: This is a mis-named medallion and sold by NZ Army to approved collectors. Correct name should have been F N Hardey. Francis Norman Hardey served as a corporal, later Lieutenant, Canterbury Regiment. Mentioned in Christopher Pugsley's 'Gallipoli: The New Zealand Story', 1st ed. 1984.
