Lot Description:New Zealand Medal, reverse dated 1863 to 1864.
(E Griggs O S HMS Miranda). BBM 91 medals to ship. Ordinary Seaman Edward Griggs, born 1842 or 1843, joined the RN in 1860. He took part in the action at Gate Pa, Tauranga, in 1864. Medal issued in 1870. With Research by late Captain Douglas-Morris, RN. -
