  • Notes:
    This painting is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from Kayili Artists which states in part: 'Many women are camped at a water site called Kurratjiti, which is west of Patjarr. At this place they collect the seeds of a species of Acacia, which the women beat from the branches, then winnow to separate the seed from the husk. Once the seed is cleaned the women grind it up mixing it with water to make a paste, called lungkunpa which is eaten raw. The women travel to Yurnimpa where there are two rockholes, the women then travel east to Yunpalarra where pintalpa (bush tomato) grows.'
