Notes:1st ed. New Plymouth : Printed for the author by Taranaki Herald, 1942, 8vo. 122 p., illus., ports. B1861. Rebound in a rather odd combination of floral patterned paper and green cloth. Ink staining to upper board and spine. New endpapers. Mild wear and occasional spotting to contents. Bagnall calls for an errata slip facing p. [6], which is not present. Disconnected notes, chiefly from newspapers with a section on hotels. First edition of 500 copies, 100 of which are printed on heavy paper, and numbered and signed. This is no. 13, bearing the authors inscription. Scarce. Covers G, contents G+.
