inscribed ‘Presented by Captain & Officers ‘S.S. Waihora’ To John Burgess 20.9.01’, the circular body with two bands of ribbed decoration, raised on three spike feet. -
Notes:The ‘S.S. Waihora’ was a 2,003 ton passenger cargo steamship built in 1882 for the Union Steam Ship Co. of N.Z.
