  The rectangular top with a substantial gallery comprising a pair of pedestals, each with small drawers secured with locking side bars, flanking an open central section with shelf and spindle gallery behind a central leather-lined hinged writing slope, enclosing a well fitted with pigeon holes and a pair of small drawers, flanked by further leather-lined surfaces, the desk frieze with three drawers raised on a pair of pedestals, each with three drawers, on a moulded plinth base with castors, 152 x 119 x 81cm.
