  An antique hand knotted Persian Kashan rug
  the field decorated with a central medallion which terminates at the upper and lower ends in flowering coronets decorated with flowers and vine tendrils. The four quarter designs reflect the decoration of the central medallion. There are five border guards, the central guard with a herati motif. Colours of light and dark blue, green, rose pink, brown and ivory on a red ground. Worn. 1900 x 1280.
