  Rare Kuru Pounamu
  Fashioned from glass with hourglass-shaped suspension hole. A number of glass ear pendants were traded in the far north on Cook's voyages (Joseph Banks). The locality in which this pendant was collected is written on an affixed label: 'Lake Omapere' in Northland. Printed on the same label: 'EDWARD ARMYTAGE COLLECTION'.
