Notes:This is a highly unique and exploratory work, painted in the third month of Emily’s painting career. An aerial abstract view of fertile country, this work references batik designs, depicted with the newly experienced clarity of acrylic paint and brush. The dots along the tendrils of the plants radiate from their increase centre, reflecting an appreciation for the inherent energy in the plants themselves. From a collector’s view, this is an early work of adventurous form that has led to future expressions. ANNABEL HOLT AND JANET HOLT Note: This lot has been WITHDRAWN.
