  Collection of handwritten & typed travel notes by Bradfield on his trip to USA, Canada & England where he examined bridges & made contact with companies who might build the bridge, including Dorman, Long & Co + 'Notes on the Sydney Harbour Bridge Bill' 20pp, damaged + 'Extract from Report of Tenders submitted' typed report 5pp + 'Sydney University War Memorial Carillon' one page typed + collection of newspaper clippings concerning the Bridge c.1924. From the Library of Kathleen M. Butler (1891-1972), Secretary to J.J.C.Bradfield, on numerous occasions Bradfield acknowledged Butler's assistance in developing the tender specifications, she acted as chief publicist for the bridgeís construction and was generally the spokesperson when Bradfield was away, she was held in high regard
