each richly decorated on the exterior in colours and gilding with numerous Rakan in a continuous scene with distant hills and pavilions, five Rakan shown in relief seated or standing on rockwork, with animals including a dragon, shi-shi and goat, the shoulders and base with bands of gilt mons and scrollwork, the base inscribed Nihon Ijuin Satsuma sei Neashirogawa Chinjukan Hododa (2)
