• Lot Description:
  BRESCIA: A rare Bugatti Brescia Type 23 radiator
  being in the same family since circa late 1960s. The family was told the car was involved in a serious accident in Victoria during 1940's. The radiator would make a wonderful display piece being in original condition with period modification at top for header tank and taller cap neck. Original manufacturers 'GARANTIE' plaque stamped 'No 244264'.
  Radiator measurements: 68cm high, 46cm wide, 8cm deep.

  Possibly from Chassis 2449 by visual identification. Refer to page 59 (Type 23 - (2449)) of 'BUGATTIS IN AUSTRALIA AND NEW ZEALAND 1920 to 2013' book by Bob King and Peter McGann. Associated photographs made available by Bugatti historian Bob King.
