Attractive plates of elevations, details, plans, for recent cottages and small apartment blocks in polychromatic brick; [WATERHOUSE, Alfred] AXON, William (Editor), An architectural and general description of the Town Hall, Manchester. To which is added a report of the inaugural proceedings, September 1877, London and Manchester: Abel Heywood & Son, 1878, frontispiece portrait of Waterhouse, double-page tinted litho plate (a general view of the new town hall), 9 litho plates of architectural views and details, 4 other plates, xi, (1), 97, (1)pp., all edges gilt, folio (38x25cm), publisher's elaborately gilt cloth, a little wear to tips and spine ends.
