  Mennecy Porcelain Milk Jug and Cover c. 1750
  painted with flowers and birds, the cover with a rose finial, minor chip to cover, incised to underside 'D V' for the Duc de Villeroy. This important collection of Mennecy porcelain was formed in the 19th century by the Darblay family, especially Ayme-Henri Darblay (1854-1899). He published the reference book, Villeroy, Son Passe, Sa Fabrique de Porcelaine et Son Etat Actuel, in 1901
