  of slightly tapered rectangular form, the hinged cover set with heavy swing handle above a portrait in relief depicting a young maiden, the body decorated with pierced stylised foliate motifs typical of the period, with escutcheon and large key, all against a dark green leather ground, opening to reveal a green velvet lined interior, impressed KW to base, 13.5cm x 17cm x 11.5cm
