Lot Description:Poster 'The Hurricane' Signed Rubin Carter, John Artis
Autographed in silver pen by the subjects of the movie, former middleweight boxer Rubin ‘Hurricane’ Carter and co-defendant John Artis. Both men were wrongly convicted for a triple murder in a bar in Paterson, New Jersey. Also the subject of the 1975 Bob Dylan song ‘Hurricane’. Two certificates of authenticity from Superstar Greetings, Inc and copies of photographs showing the signing.
