  An antique Zeigler rug, Persian, late 19th century

• Notes:
  Condition: The carpet is in overall good condition, but would benefit from washing. The ends are sealed, and sides could be improved with new over casting. There are six areas of noticeable repairs that have faded over time but could easily be rewoven. There are small areas of low pile throughout where exposed wefts have been exposed. The borders are in very good condition with the wood still luscious and attractive, unfaded colour.
