    comprising a stand with two covered ink wells, one with pen holder, and a chamberstick on an ornamented tray, unmarked
    the chamberstick 12cm high, the tray 38.5 x 25.5cm
  • Provenance:
    vintage Sotheby's sticker to tray
  • Notes:
    Condition: The desk set has some small losses to the tips of the leaves and petals and loss of one flower - (please note that some of these losses have have been preserved in one of the ink pots). There are two very small chips to the interior of one lid. The quill/ink pot has significant cracking to the lower body and upper edge which has been discoloured by ink.
