    A Spode imari pattern covered jar, 19th century
    the dome covered jar with a gilded dog of fo finial, embellished throughout with trees and flowers in vases and brocaded designs, with reserved and patterned borders to the collar and base, in a green, blue and iron red palette enriched with gilt, marked Spode in red with five dot cipher to lid and base
    30cm high
  • Notes:
    Condition: In good condition throughout with no evidence of damage, cracks, or professional repair. There is a patch of what appears to be kiln grit to the interior to the lid, and evidence of faint vertical scratches to the body, and similar to the lid. There is minor gilding loss to the base and lid rims.
