    A George III sterling silver covered tankard, 1785 London
    with a George III incuse mark and bearing 'HB' maker's mark, the baluster tankard with a girdle to the body, a pierced thumbpiece and a bold double scroll handle, gilded to the interior with inscription to the rim perimeter, "To John St Maur Ramsden on his 21st Birthday April 26. 1923. Given by the staff, indoor and outdoor servants, at Bulstrode, Muncaster & Turweston", with engraved shield crest to the body, hallmarked to interior of lid and underside
