Lot Description:A Rare Early Steiff 'Maulkorb Bar'
Brown mohair plush fur. C.1908. Boot-button eyes, stuffed with wood-wool, original pads, black boot-button eyes. No button. H. 310mm. Note: This bear was first introduced by Steiff in 1908. It wears a leather muzzle and leading-rein, inspired by the popular dancing bears that performed in town square of central Europe. -
