  Being Extracts from The Journals and Letters of Caroline Fox of Penjerrick, Cornwall From 1835 to 1871 Edited by Horace N.Pym, London, Smith, Elder & Co, 1882, portrait frontispiece (becoming loose), includes correspondence between Sir John Langdon Bonython (editor, newspaper proprietor and philanthropist who arrived in SA in 1854) and several of Caroline's descendant including Howard Fox, original photographs tipped in of 'Rosehill' including image of the room in which Caroline wrote her diaries, a telegram sent to Langdon when was appointed C.M.G. in 1908 from Robert Fox etc, brown cloth, gilt spine, foxing & edges browned
