Two volumes Part 1-VI & Part VII-X111, Joseph Rickerby Printer, both missing title pages, Part 1-VI has 36 handcoloured engraved plates after Howitt of fauna, Part VII-XIII is a collection of stories about ships, seafaring life & fables, 42 engraved plates, several signed Whimper in the plate, bound by H.Brown of Penrith, half green morocco, marbled boards, worn, foxing, engravings in good condition, inscribed to Henry Courtney Mayhew on both flyleaf's 1846 [2]
