  OIL SAMPLE BOTTLES: A collection of circa 1930s sample bottles of motor and industrial lubricating oils
  ephemera and a small collectable Tincture Metaphen bottle. Includes samples from companies in New York, Los Angeles, Germany and the UK, including a four fluid ounce Super E motor oil sample bottle and unused paper labels for oil and grease containers, a fibre and one wood bottle shipper all from the United Oil Co P/L of South Melbourne. All corks and lids are intact, some still with wax seals, some labels bottles missing or illegible, various sizes from half fluid ounce to four fluid ounce (16cm tall). Further includes a quarter ounce bottle of Tincture Metaphen 1:200 from Abbot Laboratories, Sydney, the bottle, label and cap with applicator are in good condition, 5cm tall
