  • Notes:
    The 'dragon' hollow pins in this lot are called qitong zan. First produced during the Song dynasty, they become popular during the Qing dynasty. For an almost identical example in the Capital Museum, Bejing, see Yang Zhishui, Gold and Silver Jewellery in Ancient China, Volume 3, Palace Museum Publishing, China, 2018, p. 829.
