  SOUTH AUSTRALIA CANOE WAGONETTE BY WILLIAMS OF WALSALL, CIRCA 1860
  This beautifully proportioned Canoe Wagonette is constructed on a Concord spring undercarriage with additional transverse spring at the rear. The elegant coachwork has seating for six, with "Californian" scrolled seat irons, a low rear entry door and steps for passengers, and brakes with a combination hand and foot lever. An attractive pair of carriage lamps are fitted to the high canoe shaped front.The seats have steam-bent open backs trimmed and pleated in blue leather to the original pattern. The carriage was completely restored in 2005 in Braidwood NSW with new wooden hub wheels with channel and rubber tyres, all nuts and bolts were replaced, and the original coachwork carefully repainted in the original livery. It was then used regularly around Braidwood until 2019, drawn by both a pair and single horses, and is in excellent safe driving condition. The vehicle has a wider than standard track making it extremely stable at speed.
