  • Lot Description:
    1975 BENTLEY T SERIES
  • Notes:
Produced by Bentley motors between 1965-1980, the T-series was initially the Bentley version of the Rolls Royce Silver Shadow. The car was available as a four-door saloon with a small number of two door bodied cars being produced. It was the first unibodied Bentley which was a key difference from its S series predecessor. It featured a steel and aluminium monocoque body with subframes to mount both the engine and suspension. It featured a larger habitable area despite being a smaller overall size. The car was powered by the Rolls Royce/Bentley 6750cc L Series V8 Engine which was mated to a 3 or 4 speed automatic transmission. This Australian delivered T1 Bentley, is 1 of 1703 produced and was purchased by the current vendor from the Classic Throttle Shop in 2015. Finished in Peacock Blue with cream seats and blue carpeting, the car is in outstanding condition throughout and was understood to be a former concourse winner in the hands of a previous and fastidious owner. The current owner describes the car as being a fantastic car, often driven and serviced regularly. The T Series is often seen as a great value motor car due to the similar specification of its predecessor, the S Series Continental at a fraction of the price. This vehicle is sold unregistered.
