  Souvenir photograph album of the Kyoto Sericulture [Silk] Training School, Japan, 1938
  Large quarto album (320 x 270mm), original custom binding of black velvet covered boards, the upper board with title in German, stamped in gilt “Seidenzucht Hochschule zu Kioto / 1938”, with original silk ties and containing approx. 200 silver gelatin photographs in various formats tipped-in; the majority with accompanying text in Japanese. (NB: a few photographs have been removed.).
