  • Notes:
    Collection notes: Shield. Softwood. 137 x 33 cms. Simple projecting bird head on top of shield. Red ochre with black bands top and bottom on shell white background. Style typical of the Basim area on the Fajit river. Symbolism is that of the " or AINOR WOW" meaning a mysterious design. the diamond AINOR between the two major designs is a "BOKOPUR" or navel and the arrow marks on the sides are "PE FE" meaning crabs feet. Late 1970's.
