• Notes:
  Katie was born on Texas Downs Station & was fortunate to have an education at Beagle Bay. She relocated to Warmun after her schooling & began teaching the children on the Community. Katie not only has a style of her own which is varied, bold & often whimsical (as in her Devil Dog work), but she is meticulous in method & fastidious in detail. Her paintings are invariably accompanied by a Ngarrangkarni (Dreamtime) story. This painting is a Ngarrankarni, "The Eagle & the Crow had a fight long ago, the Eagle bust his eye so that is why the crow has that white eye."
