  Appointment Certificate issued by ZAR appointing Petrus Johannes Wannenburg as acting Magistrate Clerk and Public Prosecutor, signed by Kruger & Leyds, dated 1895 + Proclamation (No. 12 of 1900) issued by Field Marshal Lord Roberts to the inhabitants of the South African Republic, printed in English & Afrikaans + Two fabric armbands for the 'Special Police For the Mines'. Jeffery Farnol's younger brother Ewart joined the 19th Hussars and was killed in action at W Transvaal in 1901, included is photocopies of Ewart's letter to his mother whilst he was away and a copy of the letter notifying the Farnol's of his death.
