  • Notes:
Blanche Davis exhibited at the First Australian Women’s Work Exhibition held in Melbourne from 23 October to 30 November 1907. It is likely that this collection was shown at that exhibition. Davis was a teacher of porcelain painting and held classes at her studio in Collins Street, Melbourne, and was a regular exhibitor from 1904 to 1925. Very rare to find a large group of hand-painted porcelain from this early period also with place names as well as being signed and dated.
