Lot Description:JACKO THE MERRY ORGAN GRINDER AND MONKEY by Distler, Germany, 1920s
Lithographed tin street-organ with spoked wheels, pushed by gaudily dressed gypsy; a monkey standing atop the organ. When wound, the man winds the organ which moves forward, the monkey jumps up and down, and music plays. Height: 21.5cm (8.5”). -
