the elongated body with applied dragon handles, decorated with two panels enclosing birdsamidst fruiting and flowering branches, on a floral motif ground, the cover surmounted with a large finial group of an eagle perched on a rock, with outstretched wings and the head bent menacingly against a snake, the whole raised on a four feet stand decorated with peonies, resting on a circular base with dragon and inlaid floral motif, signed '?????? - Hoshiyama Somin-chu' (Casting by Somin)
