Granny’s Shop was a St. Kilda landmark in the second half of the 1860s, an extremely popular destination for families when taking their children to the beach. It was located opposite the Royal Hotel, on the corner of Robe Street. Granny herself can be seen standing in front of the tiny building, wearing a white apron.
