    doors and sides painted with the animals of the Burmese week, each animal represents a day, outlined in black in shwei-zawa designs, interior lacquered in red.

  • Notes:
    Symbol of the seven days depicted as an expression of benevolence to all human beings. It is believed that 8 represents the cosmic balance. The elephant appears twice on Wednesday with tusks & without tusk, morning & afternoon.
