  one round European old cut diamond, 1.00ct with seventy eight old european cut diamonds, 3.00ct mounted in a diamond shaped hand made pierced brooch. Theodore B. Starr was a company of silversmiths founded in New York in 1862 by Theodore Starr, the New York Times on December 20, 1890, declared that "Starr’s establishment has no duplicate in this country, and probably not in the world"
