A black silk and velvet trimmed late 19th Century dress, the bodice has red silk and black lace inserts to collar and cuffs,
the skirt is worked with elaborate zigzagging velvet chevron stripes with bursts of stylised foliage worked in velvet to the hem, with pleated and pinking sheared hem to lining. Some damage to underskirt hem, otherwise in general overall good condition. (2)
