Harima Dai Jo Shigata (2nd generation). Katana
Edo period (1615-1868), 17th century, shobu-zukuri, signed nakago with 2 x holes, with black lacquered saya, tsuka wrapped in black silk and mounted with gilded iron menuki of dragons and fuchi-gashira with dragons in high relief, the gilded iron tsuba with dragon in clouds. Blade length 65.4cm, full length incl. saya and tsuka 92.2cm
