A Japanese Cloisonne Box and Cover of rectangular form. Meiji Period, 19th Century
Fine detail of bird, dragon, mythical animal & flowers on a mottled bronze ground with gilt-like accents. The base decorated with three chrysanthemum heads amidst leafing scrolls on a gold coloured ground. The interior lined with fine silk.
