            Notes:Zhabdrung Ngagwang Namgyal [1594-1651] was a Tibetan Buddhist Monk & established the sovereign state of Bhutan. His death in 1651 was kept a secret for 50 years, & edicts continued to be announced in his name. He was the Spiritual Ruler of Bhutan for 35 years.
