Lot Description:A Fish Form Coffin, Airi, Santa Catalina Island Area, off Makira Island, South East Solomon Islands
finely carved fish effigy, similar to a bonito or tuna, a small internal box cavity is closed with rope, used to house the skull of an important ancestor, conus shell discs inlay to the sides of the fish & eyes.
