Lot Description:A George III sterling silver candle snuffer, snuffer tray and toast rack, first half 19th century
the candle snuffer of maker's mark Abstainardo King, London, circa 1801, cast with shell and gadrooned decoration, engraved with two armorial crests; the snuffer tray of maker's mark John Emes, London, circa 1801, of canted rectangular form with a gadrooned edge, engraved with a central armorial crest and the Latin motto 'PRAETIO PRUDENTIA PRAESTAT'; and the toast rack of maker's mark John Emes, London, circa 1806, with a rectangular base supporting a linear frame with six apertures, beneath a loop handle cast with a Prince of Wales plume, raised on bun feet
