Lot Description:A silver sugar basket, possibly William Edwards, London and Melbourne, circa 1857
the body elaborately pierced with an embossed scene depicting exotic birds perched amongst grapes and vines, beneath grape leaf pendants, centred by a vacant cartouche, housing a frosted glass liner (probably later)
269 gms total weight of silver (excluding glass liner), 12 cm high -
